The Fire Rated Securing Screw is a hard wearing, versatile screw that meets current fire regulations for Commercial and domestic applications. The Screw meets the fire requirement to hold support during tempuratures of up to 930ºC for at least 2 hours. 

Most plastic wall-plugs will soften and fail later, disintegrating between 100ºC - 200ºC, so provide inadequate support in fire conditions for the time required. Simply drill a 4mm pilot-hole in the substrate, through the PVC trunking if applicable, insert the clip and the Wall-Dog. Sharp flutes along the shaft negate the need for plastic wall plugs. 

The screw is a revolutionary new fixing that combines screw and anchor in one, to save you time and money. No need to carry around a load of different screws, anchors and plugs: the screw will do it all for you.

The screw is the industry's first all-in-one steel screw and anchor. Fastening into wood and wallboard is now easier than ever: no need to pre-drill, the screw saves you time by allowing you to install screw and anchor in a one step application. Getting the job done quicker saves you money. Other materials such as brick or block require a 4.5mm pre-drilled hole, and the screw saves you money by eliminating the need for a plug or anchor. The patented design gives you a high quality fix, whilst doing less damage to the material: on removal, the screw leaves a noticeably smaller cavity than other screws. This makes 'making good' easier than ever. The screw is an economical choice because unlike many other anchors it is fully removable and reusable. You can use it for a range of applications such as light fixtures, plug sockets, picture frames and more: anywhere you need a screw, the screw will do the job better and cheaper than drilling, plugging and screwing. How to use it
1.For fastening into wallboard or wood, no pre-drilling is required - the anchor is inserted through the fixture and screwed in with an ordinary Phillips screwdriver (Robertson head style also available).
2.Fastening into concrete, hollow or grout-filled concrete masonry, brick and plaster requires a pre-drilled hole using a 3/16" ANSI bit.
